In 2009, the Southeastern Region will conduct an exciting program for it Sigma Beta Club. The inaugural Rites of Passage program aims to instill a positive value system in High School Sigma Betas by promoting the following: Sophistication or Maturity, Self-Thought, Development of Potential Talent, Sense of Brotherhood, Involvement, Commitment to Service, and Development of Spirituality. Each participant will raise funds for the program, which benefits the Dudley Flood Educational Foundation; from the proceeds, the participant will be rewarded a scholarship upon his high school graduation.  This year-long program will culminate with a “Blu-Tillion” style celebration at the 2010 Regional Conference.

1) Submit interested High School Sigma Beta Club members to Bro. Lewis by September 15, 2008;
2) Solicit volunteers from the alumni chapter to serve as workshop presenters and session facilitators for the program;
3) Solicit brothers to sponsor a Rites of Passage participant throughout the program.
